Welcome to the 2006 FICP Northeast Chapter Summer Meeting!

We are pleased to announce that the meeting will be held Sunday, August 20 through Tuesday, August 22 at The Hotel Viking, Newport RI. Our design team is once again busy working on an exciting agenda that will include educational presentations, guest speakers, entertainment and much more. In addition, you'll have ample opportunity to network with our sponsoring hospitality partners as well as meet other area meeting planners in the insurance and financial services industry. We hope you'll join us!

Registration fee for planners is $100.00 which includes business sessions, planned activities and all planned meals. Hotel room at a special discounted rate of $109 and air and/or ground transportation will be the responsibility of the attendee.

If you are interested in staying additional nights in Newport to further enjoy this beautiful area, the Hotel Viking is graciously offering discounted pre- and post-meeting rates. Rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For Friday and Saturday evenings before (August 18 and 19), the discounted rate is $209 and for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings after (August 22, 23, and 24), the discounted rate is $109. Please select your preferred dates when you register.

Please be sure to register before July 28, 2006. No refunds will be issued after July 28, 2006. Dress for the meeting is business casual.
